Tirosint® Direct Program
Tirosint® Direct is a convenient program based on a network of participating mail order pharmacies for Tirosint (levothyroxine sodium) capsules and Tirosint-SOL (levothyroxine sodium) oral solution. With the Tirosint Direct Program you can be confident that you will pay the lowest out-of-pocket cash price for your prescribed therapy depending on your individual circumstances.
Has your insurance company increasing your copay? Do you have a high insurance deductible for your medication or have no insurance? By using one of our participating Tirosint Direct Program mail order pharmacies, you will get your medication for a cash price of $60 for one month of therapy (30-day supply) or $150 for 3 months of therapy (a 90-day supply)* regardless of your insurance coverage. If you have health insurance, the pharmacy will give you a choice of paying the cash price or using your insurance and paying a copay which can be further reduced by using our Copay Savings Card. Flexible Supply
You can get up to 180 days of therapy at a time thru Tirosint Direct. Note that prices are based on cartons of 30 gel caps each.

With Tirosint Direct you can be assured that you can always get your prescribed dose of Tirosint or Tirosint-SOL. Tirosint Direct pharmacies stock all doses which are available for immediate delivery.
In most cases your medication will arrive within 2-3 business days after your order has been processed.
Payment Options
All major credit cards are accepted. You can get a receipt that you can submit to your flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) administrator or your health insurer.
Using Tirosint® Direct for the First Time
When you participate in the Tirosint Direct Program:
Your doctor submits your Tirosint prescription by faxing or electronically transmitting your prescription to one of Tirosint Direct’s participating pharmacies.
After your prescription has been transmitted to one of Tirosint Direct’s mail order pharmacies, you will be contacted by phone to verify your name, address, and credit card information to cover the cash portion of your prescription. In most cases, you will receive a call within 24 hours. Customer service representatives will be available to answer your questions and to explain the process.
Cost Plus Drugs contacts patients only by email when we receive an Rx. The Rx must include the patient’s email address OR the patient must create an account on costplusdrugs.com before the Rx is sent. Otherwise, we will have no way to contact the patient.

For patients who don’t require a benefit investigation and want to order online with cash, a convenient program with home delivery is now available. Prescriptions can be sent via e-prescribing or fax to Vytal (AmeriPharm/DBA Medvantx) and you can order refills, check your order status and request new prescriptions on our online ordering website.

Participating pharmacies will offer you the lowest out-of-pocket cost to fill your prescription whether or not you have commercial health insurance.
If you don’t have insurance you will be offered the lowest cash cost available for your prescription. To learn the current cash price for Tirosint ,or Tirosint-SOL, contact one of the participating Tirosint Direct pharmacies.
It usually takes 2-3 business days after your order has been processed to arrive at your door.
For Cost Plus Drugs
• Turnaround time depends on the shipping speed that the user selects at checkout.
• All orders take 48 hours to be processed and filled.
• After the order is filled, standard shipping is 5-7 business days; expedited shipping is 3-5 business days.
Patients paying cash pay as little as $50 a month with a 90-day prescription (3 cartons for $150) or $60 a month with a 30-day prescription (1 carton for $60)
Our participating pharmacies will work with your insurance provider and physician to determine your eligibility for commercial health insurance coverage. If you have commercial insurance coverage you will be given the option to use a Tirosint or Tirosint-SOL copay savings card that may help to further reduce your out-of pocket cost.
